Well the snowboard season ends this weekend. Closing day is something I always attend. Not this year. I’m tired. Not in a bad way, just fatigued. My legs just wont let me ride how I want to. So, we moved out of our place, stayed on a couch or 2, had some good bye / see you later drinks and headed out to BC.
Took some pics as we were heading out.
Once in BC we have to cross a couple of ferries and I took some pics of a ferry in a dry dock while waiting. The sign clearly said “Danger Stay Out!” but as it was not locked I went in. I was impressed with the size of the thing, just hanging there. I used my new Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 lens but left the lens shade in the car. Could have used it. Oh well, still happy with how some of the shots came out.
Got some more shots on the 2nd ferry as we docked.
Tonight is supposed to be a “Super Moon” with the moon being 14% closer and 30% brighter than normal. We are expecting broken cloud cover tonight and I’m hoping to get a Time Lapse of it some how. Will be a hard one to expose for as well as the fact I will be trying to hit a moving target. Fingers crossed for a usable result.
